'A Christmas Carol' (2009)
Watch "A Christmas Carol" on Disney Plus
A CG animated rendition of the classic holiday story, the 2009 "A Christmas Carol" stars Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge. The movie uses 3D animation and motion capture to bring the characters and plot to life, making it a fun choice for audiences of any age.
'Jingle All The Way'

This '90s family flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger tells the story of a dad's determination to get the perfect gift for his son. Though far from a critical favorite, it's a fun comedy to stream with the kids, or even to watch alone if you're just feeling a little nostalgic.
'Noelle'
Watch "Noelle" on Disney Plus
This Disney Plus original from 2019 is the perfect opportunity to start a new family holiday tradition. "Noelle" follows the story of Kris Kringle's daughter (Anna Kendrick) as she searches for her brother (Bill Hader), Nick, in an attempt to save Christmas.
'Annie' (1999)
Watch "Annie" on Disney Plus
While the original film version of "Annie" may not be a Christmas movie, the 1999 edition follows everyone's favorite redheaded orphan as she spends Christmas in Oliver Warbucks' luxury mansion. I grew up watching this version of "Annie," so I'm a bit biased, but dare I say it's better than the original. Plus, this version features plenty of musical theatre stars, including Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Victor Garber, and Kathy Bates.
'Frozen'
Watch "Frozen" on Disney Plus
Contrary to Elsa's belief, the cold definitely bothered me anyway. However, "Frozen" is a heartwarming family film to remedy even the coldest of winter days. When Elsa's powers unintentionally freeze the city of Arendelle, she and her sister Anna strive to save the city from an endless winter.
The 2019 sequel, "Frozen II," is also available to stream, as is the 2017 spinoff short film, "Olaf's Frozen Adventure," which specifically takes place during the Christmas season.
'Lego Star Wars Holiday Special'
Watch "Lego Star Wars Holiday Special" on Disney Plus
"Star Wars" fans old and new will appreciate this walk down memory lane for the franchise. In an effort to learn more about the Force, Rey joins BB-8 on a journey that highlights epic moments of "Star Wars" history.
'Mickey's Christmas Carol'
Watch "Mickey's Christmas Carol" on Disney Plus
It's hard to be a Scrooge while watching anything that Mickey's involved in. This version of "A Christmas Carol" sticks to the usual storyline, but the Disney twist makes it both fun and family-friendly.
''Twas the Night'
Watch "'Twas the Night" on Disney Plus
Disney Channel original movies are at the heart of Disney Plus nostalgia. Such is the case with "'Twas the Night," which profiles a boy and his uncle (played by Bryan Cranston) as they try to assume Santa's role on Christmas Eve.
'The Ultimate Christmas Present'
Watch "The Ultimate Christmas Present" on Disney Plus
This is the perfect Christmas movie for West Coasters who dream of a snowy holiday season. Two LA-based friends team up to create a snow day for their school, but they have to think on their feet when the machine goes awry.
